Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a comedian from Canada, actress, and writer. O'Hara has been awarded numerous awards, including an award from the Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara made her debut as an actress in 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She received praise from critics for both her writing and acting skills and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael Key and Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows.
